The David family have run this thatched character pub which purveys good food fine wine and real ale for the past 44 years and welcome customers old and new to this award winning inn.

The Old House Inn is situated in the Llynfi Valley overlooking the rolling hills of Mynydd Baiden. It is approximately 6 miles from Sarn services on the M4 and approximately 10 miles from Port Talbot.

It has won numerous awards over the years including Whisky Pub of the Year and is mentioned in most pub guides including the AA Camra Guides and Best Pub Guides. During 2008 it was shown on ITV as one of the best pubs in Wales.

Its walls are covered in lots of brass and copper bric a brac and has a collection of nearly 1100 jugs which hang from the ceiling and beams. It has a huge inglenook fireplace with a roaring fire in the winter.

A conservatory was built on the back of the pub almost 20 years ago which is a very attractive dining room seating 60 people. The old restaurant is a very nice room if you want a small party of up to 36 people.
